Catherine's father, Michael Crean, is listed as "Dealer in Cattle" on the GRO Marriage record
of Catherine to Pat Finn.
Doly Finn remembers that Catherine's first son, Martin Fox, was in the Boer War and incurred a
severe wound to his ankle.  It was thought that he eventually died from complications of this
wound.
Catherine was a widow at the time of the 1901 Ireland Census.
